GATE is the general access tool to the experimental infrastructures of GSI.
Users must be registered in GATE in order to be able to...
- submit beamtime proposals for the ion accelerator complex and for the laser PHELIX
- be a co-proposer on a proposal
- prepare beamtime
- participate in an experiment as experimentalist on-site at GSI
- access the campus for experiments; allowance can cover several years ('Campus registration' within GATE)
- submit experiment reports and publications on past beamtimes
You have two opportunities to log on in GATE: GATE username/password or GSI Weblogin.
- If GATE username/password is forgotten, request new one here on this page.
- If your GSI Weblogin seems not to work, please try to log on at www.gsi.de. If it works there, it will work in GATE too.
- If not, visit www-oracle.gsi.de, go to 'Logon' and request a new GSI Weblogin password.
GSI/FAIR personnel with a role in GATE (e.g. checking techn. feasibility) use the Admintool of GATE (login with GSI Weblogin).
